Dr hab. Anna Ajduk<\/strong> - Assistant professor at the Department of Embryology, Faculty of Biology, University of Warsaw.<\/p>\n At the Faculty of Biology of the University of Warsaw, she also obtained a master's degree (2003) and a doctoral degree (2007). She completed research internships at Cardiff University and the University of Cambridge in Great Britain and at the Institute for Biogenesis Research, University of Hawaii in the USA.<\/p>\n For over 10 years he has been dealing with the topic of fertilization and early embryonic development of mammals, also in the context of optimization of in vitro fertilization procedures. Currently he runs, among others research on the impact of the aging process on the quality of ova and embryos and on the use of optical coherence microscopy (OCM) in biology and reproductive medicine.<\/p>\n Her research was honored in 2013 with the Prof. Stefan Pie\u0144kowski award for outstanding achievements in exact and natural sciences. She is a beneficiary of the programs of the Foundation for Polish Science, the National Science Center, the National Center for Research and Development, Schering Foundation and FEBS.<\/p>\n In addition to scientific work, she is also involved in the popularization of science and works in organizations associating scientists - from 2012 in the Association of the Foundation for Polish Science Scholars (in 2013-2017 she was the president of the Association), and from 2016 at the Polish Young Academy of the Polish Academy of Sciences (in 2017-2019 she was the chair of the PYA).<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
