Dr in\u017c. Piotr Ku\u015bwik<\/strong> is an assistant professor at the Institute of Molecular Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences at the Department of Thin Layers. He obtained his master's degree in 2006 at the Faculty of Technical Physics of the Pozna\u0144 University of Technology, and defended his doctoral thesis in 2011 at the IFM PAN. His research interests concern thin-film magnetic systems in which the ferromagnetic layer is characterized by perpendicular anisotropy. In particular, he focuses on ways to modify the effective magnetic anisotropy in these systems. He completed a fifteen-month postdoctoral fellowship at Max-Planck-Institut f\u00fcr Mikrostrukturphysik, Halle. He also participated in many research internships at: University of Kassel (Germany), Dartmoth Colage, Hanover (USA), <\/span>National Institutes of Natural Sciences Institute for Molecular Science, Okazaki (Japan). <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n In the years 2007-2010 he was a scholarship holder of the President of the Polish Academy of Sciences, and in subsequent years he received prestigious awards: the scientific award of the City of Pozna\u0144, Stefan Pie\u0144kowski, awarded by the Department of Exact Sciences and Geosciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences, START Scholarship of the Foundation for Polish Science.<\/p>\n He is the co-author of 27 publications and a chapter in a book. He published the results of his research in reputable scientific journals, such as Physical Review Letter, Physical Review B, Nanotechnology, Applied Physics Letters. He participated many times in domestic and foreign research projects. Currently, he is leading research under the grants of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education-DAAD and NCN SONATA BIS.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
