Dr hab. Eng. Anna Fabija\u0144ska<\/strong> (born 1982) represents the field of technical sciences and the discipline of computer science. He works as an associate professor at the Institute of Applied Computer Science at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science and Automation (EEIiA) of the Lodz University of Technology.<\/span><\/p>\n

She is a graduate of MA studies in computer science at the EEIiA Faculty of the Lodz University of Technology, which she graduated in 2006. She obtained the degrees of doctor of technical sciences and habilitated doctor of technical sciences in the field of computer science in 2007 and 2013, respectively, also at the Faculty of EEIiA Lodz University of Technology. <\/span>She also gained scientific experience at renowned foreign universities, incl. at the University of Kent in Great Britain and Universit\u00e9 Claude Bernard Lyon 1 in France.<\/span><\/p>\n

Research interests of dr hab. Eng. Anna Fabija\u0144ska concern computer processing and analysis of digital images and neural networks. In particular, they focus on the development of computer-aided medical diagnostic imaging methods and dedicated methods of automatic image analysis for industrial and scientific applications.  <\/span>His achievements to date in the above-mentioned dr hab. Eng. Anna Fabija\u0144ska summed up in her habilitation dissertation prepared under a grant awarded by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education for 2010-2012 and in over 100 scientific publications, including a dozen included in the JCR. <\/span><\/p>\n

She is also a laureate of many prestigious competitions, including: a scholarship of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education as part of the program for outstanding young scientists in 2013-2016, a scholarship holder of the START program of the Foundation for Polish Science in 2011 and a grant manager under the Iuventus Plus project in 2013-2015. She has also received the awards of the Rector of the Lodz University of Technology many times, including the award for the youngest first author of a scientific publication from the Philadelphia List and a professor's scholarship. <\/span><\/p>\n
