Marii Sk\u0142odowskiej-Curie Pa\u0144stwowego Instytutu Badawczego oraz specjalista biotechnologii w Zak\u0142adzie Farmakologii Do\u015bwiadczalnej Instytutu Medycyny Do\u015bwiadczalnej i Klinicznej im. Miros\u0142awa Mossakowskiego PAN; pe\u0142ni\u0142a funkcj\u0119 Zast\u0119pcy Dyrektora ds. Nauki Narodowego Instytutu Onkologii. Jest absolwentk\u0105 I Wydzia\u0142u Lekarskiego Warszawskiego Uniwersytetu Medycznego oraz Kolegium Mi\u0119dzywydzia\u0142owych Indywidualnych Studi\u00f3w Matematyczno-Przyrodniczych Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego. Ponadto jest te\u017c absolwentk\u0105 studi\u00f3w podyplomowych zarz\u0105dzania innowacj\u0105 w sektorze zdrowia (Akademia Leona Ko\u017ami\u0144skiego) oraz pozyskiwania i zarz\u0105dzania \u015brodkami publicznymi przeznaczonymi na innowacj\u0119 (Szko\u0142a G\u0142\u00f3wna Handlowa), a tak\u017ce programu rozwoju zawodowego w zakresie zarz\u0105dzania nauk\u0105 i komercjalizacji na Uniwersytecie Stanforda w USA jako laureatka programu TOP 500 Innovators MNISzW i studi\u00f3w podyplomowych z biostatyki (Collegium Medicum UJ).<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Czarnecka gained her practice as an oncologist while training at the Department of Male Oncology of the Oncology Clinic of the Military Medical Institute in Warsaw, and as a molecular biologist leading the research teams of the Molecular Oncology Laboratory. She gained scientific experience from the period of studies at the Institute of Genetics and Biotechnology of the University of Warsaw, and from 2018 at the Department of Experimental Pharmacology of the Mossakowski Medical Research Institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences. <span lang=\"en-US\">She completed internships at the Department of Urology Emory School of Medicine (Atlanta, USA), Dipartimento di Medicina Sperimentale Universite degli Studi di Palermo (Palermo, Italy) Universit\u00e4tsklinik f\u00fcr Kinder- und Jugendheilkunde, Paracelsus Medizinische Privatuniversit\u00e4t (Research, Austria) and Gene Function Center of the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (Ibaraki, Japan). <\/span>She obtained the title of doctor of medical sciences in the field of medicine in 2010 at the Oncology Center - Institute of Maria Sk\u0142odowskiej - Curie in Warsaw on the basis of the doctoral dissertation conducted as part of the Molecular Medicine Study entitled: &quot;Mitochondrial disorders in the cancer process&quot;, and in 2018 she obtained the title of habilitated doctor in the field of oncology at the Medical Faculty of the Medical University of Gda\u0144sk on the basis of a series of publications entitled: &quot;Clinical and molecular markers of the efficacy of treatment of renal cell carcinoma with tyrosine kinase inhibitors&quot;. Winner of many awards, including scholarships from the Goldman Sachs Foundation, Ko\u015bciuszkowska and Fulbright, as well as the Mentoring and START Programs of the Foundation for Polish Science, the L&#039;Oreal Scholarship for Women and Science, and finally &quot;Kryszta\u0142ka Zwierciad\u0142a&quot; for scientific achievements and approach to the patient.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, Dr. Czarnecka&#039;s research focuses on drug resistance and the search for new clinical and molecular predictive and prognostic markers for melanoma and sarcomas.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Anna M.
