Prof. dr hab. in\u017c. Marta Gmurek<\/strong> received MSc degree in Environmental Engineering in at TUL and also a PhD and DSc degrees in Environmental Engineering in 2014 and 2018, respectively. Since 2020, she has been Associate Professor at TUL (Department of Molecular Engineering). After PhD her scientific research is concentrated closely on chemical engineering with elements of environmental engineering. Her scientific and research interests are focused on the effective elimination of Contaminants of Emerging Concern from the aqueous environment (wastewater and natural waters) using advanced oxidation processes. She paid special attention to application of visible light for photocatalytic and photosensitized oxidation. She has completed scientific internships at Charles University in Prague, DAAD internships in Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. Since 2018, she has been a Visiting Researcher at the University of Coimbra (Mobility Plus Programme (2018-2019) and SAFE Project, H2020 (2019-2022). She has received two START Fellowship from FNP. Since 2018, she has been a beneficiary of the fellowship of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education for Outstanding Young Scientists. She has been the manager of Norway Grants (SGS), and she has participated in 9 projects funded by NCN and NCBiR. She received a prestigious Alexander von Humboldt Research Fellowship for Postdoctoral Researchers.<\/p>\n
