Joanna Kułaga-Przymus

Joanna Kułaga-Przymus is a university professor at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science, Department of Ergodic Theory and Dynamical Systems. A member of the team Dynamics and Ergodic Theory within University Centre of Excellence in the research area “Dynamics, mathematical analysis and artificial intelligence”. A recipient of, among others, the Kazimierz Kuratowski Award and the Polish Mathematical Society Award for young mathematicians. A scholarship holder of the Foundation for Polish Science and the Ministry of Education and Science. A graduate of the Nicolaus Copernicus University Highchool. Wrote her master's and doctoral theses under the supervision of prof. Mariusz Lemańczyk. After defending her doctoral thesis, she worked for two years at the Instisute of Mathematics of PAS and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at CNRS (University of Aix-Marseille, France). Her recent research interests focus on the Sarnak hypothesis regarding the randomness of Möbius functions and issues related to the theory of B-free sequences and their connections to number theory.
