Adiunkt w Katedrze Postępowania Cywilnego na Wydziale Prawa i Administracji Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego. Jest absolwentem prawa i filozofii w ramach Kolegium Międzydziedzinowych Indywidualnych Studiów Humanistycznych i Społecznych na Uniwersytecie Warszawskim. Stopień doktora nauk prawnych uzyskał z wyróżnieniem w roku 2019, a w roku 2025 stopień doktora habilitowanego. Osiągnięcie naukowe, będące podstawą nadania stopnia, zostało wyróżnione przez nadającą stopień Radę Naukową Dyscypliny Nauki Prawne Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego. W roku 2024 otrzymał stypendium Ministra Nauki i Szkolnictwa Wyższego dla wybitnych młodych naukowców.
Był profesorem wizytującym na Università degli Studi di Milano Statale. Odbył staże naukowe w Max Planck Institute for International, European and Regulatory Procedural Law w Luksemburgu oraz w Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law w Hamburgu.
Jego zainteresowania naukowe obejmują prawo postępowania cywilnego, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem problematyki międzynarodowego i europejskiego prawa procesowego oraz porównawczego prawa procesowego cywilnego, a także prawo prywatne międzynarodowe.
Jest również radcą prawnym, członkiem Krajowej Rady Radców Prawnych i Rady Okręgowej Izby Radców Prawnych w Warszawie. W kwietniu 2024 r. został powołany przez Prezesa Rady Ministrów w skład Komisji Kodyfikacyjnej Ustroju Sądownictwa i Prokuratury.

Assistant Professor at the Department of Civil Procedure at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw. A graduate of Law and Philosophy at the College of Inter-area Individual Studies in the Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Warsaw. Dr hab. Wołodkiewicz was awarded a PhD in Law summa cum laude in 2019, and a habilitation degree in 2025. The scientific achievement that formed the basis for the habitation degree’s conferral was distinguished by the Scientific Council of the Legal Sciences Discipline at the University of Warsaw, the body that awarded the degree. In 2024, Dr. hab. Wołodkiewicz was awarded the Minister of Science and Higher Education’s Scholarship for outstanding young scholars.
Dr hab. Wołodkiewicz was a visiting professor at the Università degli Studi di Milano Statale and visiting scholar at the Max Planck Institute for International, European and Regulatory Procedural Law in Luxembourg and at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law in Hamburg.
His research interests include the law of civil procedure, with a particular focus on international and European procedural law and comparative civil procedure, as well as private international law.
Dr. hab. Wołodkiewicz is also an attorney-at law, a member of the National Bar Council of Attorneys-at Law and of the Board of the Warsaw Bar Association of Attorneys-at-Law.
In April 2024 dr. Wołodkiewicz was appointed by the Prime Minister to the Commission for the Codification of the System of Judiciary and Public Prosecution.
