Z radością informujemy, że w dnia 12-15 maja br. odbędzie się konferencja “Chasing Mythical Beasts… The Reception of Creatures from Graeco-Roman Mythology in Children’s & Young Adults’ Culture as a Transformation Marker”, którą organizuje prof. Katarzyna Marciniak, członek AMU, w ramach Alexander von Humboldt Foundation Alumni Award for Innovative Networking Initiatives.
Patronat nad obradami objęła Akademia Młodych Uczonych PAN. Konferencja jest jednocześnie punktem wyjścia do projektu “Our Mythical Childhood… The Reception of Classical Antiquity in Children’s and Young Adults’ Culture in Response to Regional and Global Challenges” (ERC Consolidator Grant), a także jednym z elementów obchodów 25-lecia istnienia Ośroda Badań nad Tradycją Antyczną, założonego przez prof. Jerzego Axera w roku 1991 na Uniwersytecie Warszawskim.
