Adrian Jusupović

Adrian Jusupović (ORCID 0000-0001-7734-0001) - a graduate of the Institute of History at the University of Warsaw. In 2011, a doctorate at the Faculty of History of the University of Warsaw, in 2018 a habilitation at the Institute of History T. Manteuffel of the Polish Academy of Sciences. From July 1, 2019, professor of IH PAN. In 2007–2017, research internships at the Rhenish Frederick William University in Bonn, the University of T. Ševčenki, Moscow State University. M. Lomonosov and the State Academy of Sciences of Belarus.
He specializes in Polish-Ruthenian relations from the end of the 10th to the 14th century, source studies (monuments of Ruthenian literature), editing, prosopography and spelling. From 2018, a member of Ceraneum (Waldemar Ceran Center for Research on the History and Culture of the Mediterranean Basin and South-Eastern Europe). Organizer / co-organizer of conferences aimed at promoting research on medieval Rus.
Author / co-author of seven books and dozens of scientific and popular science articles. In September 2015, he was awarded a scholarship of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education for young outstanding scientists. In 2018, he was awarded the 2017 Eastern Review Award (25th Jubilee Edition) in the category: Edition of the Source, 1st prize in "Studia Źródłoznawcze" im. Professor Stefan Krzysztof Kuczyński for 2017 in the category of source editions and the 1st prize in the competition "Historical Book of the Year" awarded by the directors of Historical Institutes in Poland and the President of the Polish Historical Society for the work: Monumenta Poloniae Historica, Nova Series, Vol. XVI: Chronica Galician- Volinian.
