Monika Kaczmarek

Prof. dr hab. Monika M. Kaczmarek - professor at the Institute of Animal Reproduction and Food Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Olsztyn, where he also heads the Laboratory of Molecular Biology. She has a wide range of research interests, often on the border of disciplines, although they mainly relate to reproductive and molecular biology. She gained experience during numerous internships, incl. at the Technical University of Munich (Germany), or at Pennington Biomedical Research Center, Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge (USA). His achievements include several dozen works published in renowned scientific journals. She gave a number of lectures in Poland and abroad (e.g. in the USA, Switzerland, Israel). He has extensive experience in presenting research results outside of academia (eg TEDx, Futurelearn MOOC, Children's University).

Her achievements and scientific achievements have been appreciated by numerous reputable foundations in Poland and abroad, incl. Foundation for Polish Science, Foundation Pro Scientia et Vita, The Hertie Foundation, the Foundation Alexander von Humboldt, the Polish-U.S. Fulbright Commission.

It is involved in promoting a new generation of scientists not only in the immediate vicinity. For years he has been a mentor in the TopMinds training and mentoring program. She is also no stranger to work in various advisory teams, scientific organizations and societies, including: the Academy of Young Scientists of the Polish Academy of Sciences (deputy chairman in 2014-2016), the Polish-American Fulbright Commission (Board of Directors from 2017), the Society of Biology Reproduction (vice-president since 2016), Society for the Study of Reproduction (Public Affairs Committee since 2019).
